Default Stryker and jet question

Can a 1998 17' open Alumaweld Stryker be fitted with a jet. It has a 1998 60 Merc. prop now. Concerning motors with props and converting to a jet, is that possible. I'm wondering about transom height, and how you determine what length of shaft you need to run a jet. Thanks Fishy

I have a 90/65 honda on mine and it works ok. If you have tiller steer you may want to go with a little more hp. I changed my tiller over to the remote steer which helped alot and i'm going to get a 4 blade impeller to help with the hop out of the hole. Hope this helps. If you want more info send me a PM.
