Lighted Kwikfish
I have started a collection of kwikfish and Cabellas now has them with lights in them. Turns on in the water and off in the tackle box. They claim 400 hours battery life. I don't know how much difference a light would make, but what does intrigue me is that they are translucent and would absorb and reflect the natural light much better than a solid color. The price is 9-10 bucks a piece. Kind of spendy. Maybe they will make the same translucent colors w/o the light. Just when you thought you had enough colors! I am surprised they haven't shown up in the local tackle stores. If someone buys one, put it in somebody's aquarium and take a pic of it.

Re: Lighted Kwikfish
Ask FearnoFish about them. I have a couple, and they rock for Steelies at night.

Re: Lighted Kwikfish
 If you found one floating down the Big C/R last year it belongs to BoatRamp, When he pulled it in he thought it was a NATE and turned it loose.

Re: Lighted Kwikfish
They work well at night that is a no brainer, they also work good on dark overcast days  .

I plan to use this Hollywood Blues (5591) for the large run-off tides.

Re: Lighted Kwikfish
Didn't quite kill em this year. 71 steelies was half of what we had the last 5 years. Still a heckuva plug, some guys do real well with em on Springers. I prefer the old style Mag Warts. Kind of a no brainer, 30 pulls and stick em in the rod holder, grab rod when it is buried!C'mon April!

Re: Lighted Kwikfish
At the Sportsman Show, I think Bobs Tackle booth had a bunch at the bottom of the Kfish display - probably at a good price.
Last year I thought they'd were just the coolest thing and bought several. After trying them about three times for springers without a bite, they're no longer in my starting line-up.

Re: Lighted Kwikfish
I just bought one from gijoes. The light is RED!
I didn't expect that. Now I have to try it.

Re: Lighted Kwikfish
We fished them at Longveiw last year on a bright sunny day. We caught 5 springers in two days using one. I have found them for 7.99 at Sportsmans

They work OK  .... You'll increase your chances if you use them around the time a lunar eclipse is happening.
