Default Help with an Aquarium stand..

I have been givin the chance to take over my nephew's aquarium. The problem I am having is finding a stand for it. It is 60x24x24 Approx. 150 gallons. Online I can buy a full 150 gallon set-up for $450-600. For a stand that will fit this 60x24x24 it will end up costing me more.
Any suggestion on a place or someone that has a 60x24x24 stand for sale in the Portland area???

There is a place downtown called WetSpot. They specialize in only freshwater fish and they are the only place I purchase fish from as well as supplies etc.. The staff there are very knowledgable and helpful as well. They not only stock many different styles and sizes of stands, they also have access to many different dealers and builders. I've always thought thier prices were reasonable as well. The other consideration for you is are you handy at all with wood?? As far as my stands go, I have always built my own. They are very simple to make and you can even make nice ones from simple dimensional lumber (dried not green!!). If you like the idea of doing your own WetSpot can still help as you can see the different designs and such there and how they are made. I would offer help making one but my shop is in the process of being "remodeled" and I can't even tell what is where right now! I currently have 3 freshwater tanks set up and have had salt and freshwater when I was still in the Corps. If there is anything else I can help with let me know.

I have two 90 gallon tanks that I built stands for out of 2x4's and 4x4's if you have access to a chop saw and a cordless drill your set. If you want I can email you pics of the stands. They cost me around $75 each to build.
