Wally World

Stopped to grab a couple of things at Wally World this afternoon. Walked through the sporting goods area and low and behold no firearms on display or for sale. Asked the clerk what what was going on and he said that they are discontinuing the sale of firearms at Wally World stores. Does anyone know what the story is?

I was told that 1 store in every district is going to carry firearms. The guy behind the sporting goods counter told me this. Really doesn't matter to me because i buy at Bi-Mart. It's kinda a "tradition" thing.

Wally World is St Helens just re-stocked their gun cabinets..not that i buy guns there.

I have read and been told that Wal Mart is reducing it's emphasis on fishing and hunting in general, and in select markets will not be selling firearms.

The firearms business (for new firearms) is very low margin and very high in labor, inventory dollars and liability......
