FINALLY!

Well, I'm not worried anymore that the Whatahoochi River doesn't have steelhead in it anymore. I got a nice winter hatchery fish this morning. I've told myself that I would give the jig thing an honest try. Well, I made 10-12 casts through a drift with it and no action. Set it down and lobbed the old faithful eggs in, got bit and was daydreaming so missed the bite. Threw back out and whammo. Fish on.

This rain has really seemed to get the fish moving. Hopefully it will continue and the springers will get moving too.
