Default Springer's at Bonniville

Well we went up to Hamilton Island yesterday to fish for sturgeon when we got there. There were several people fishing for springers so I put out 3 sturgeon rods and 2 salmon rods. We hit one fish in 12 hours and it was a chrome bright hatchery nookie about 18 lbs. Of course I am only guessing on the weight as I didnt have a net and lost my wifes fish trying to tail it on to the bank. Needless to say I am in the doghouse now. If anyone is interested she took a red/black tiger striped spin-glo with black wings. Good Luck (and dont forget the net)
