Well, I caught my first steelhead anyways

I drifted the clack with spooled and his buddy Chris on Saturdy and we had a great day. The water was in good condition from the rain the night before and we only saw five or six boats until we got closer to Riverside.

We hooked into 5 and got 3 "to" the boat. You'll have to ask spooled why we didn't get three "in" the boat!

We kept 2 nice bright summer run fish.

Anyways, spooled helped me get into my first steelhead and we had a great time. Thanks spooled. And if you ever need an extra rod while "trout" fishing, you know how to get ahold of me

Aron, glad you had a good time and congrats on your first "landed" steelhead.

We told you that no one lands their first steelhead, so I felt obligated to knock him off with the net. I think that net my be defective like that anchor Smokin' Reel sold me with the boat. Sorry for knocking him off, but that fish was caught within the first half hour and I didn't want you to limit too early and then just watch us fish.
Anytime you want to hand me your rod because it is a "trout" and not fighting hard, I'll be glad to take it and land a 12lb summer. Funny how the minute you hand it to me, it starts to strip line like a scalded cat.

Thanks to Chris for the help rowing. It was a good day.

Just haven't landed my first winter yet.

Congrats again, and is it summer time already? What happened to winter? Geez, the countdown is on for the river closures at the 1st. Some of the zipperlips I know haven't had fish show yet and they close in 2 weeks. That sucks.
