Default Hammer Down .. top of the list

We all have people we like to hang out with and fish with. And some of them have an attitude that makes this easy. I try to fish with many, especially the new guys. But there are a few that I will get on the boat no matter what if they tell me they can go.

I would include several on that list and they know who they are.

On several occasions now Hammer Down has gone the extra mile and done things for me and my boat(s). He is a machinist and an artist at what he does. I doubt I could even pay anyone at a commercial shop and have as good a result. And most recently he did something extraordinary.

Thank you sir. I'm engraving your name at the top of the brass deck hand plaque on the 'Kismet'.

Name the day bro and we'll go out with live bait.

Team 'Kismet' rocks!

I've had the pleasure of sharing a deck with John (Hammer Down) a few times...great guy. Doesn't surprise me that he would be the type to help out ANY dog in need....Way to go

Thanks for the kind words Mr. Wells. But I'm one of many who'll tell you, "What comes around goes around".

You sir were among the few originals who took the first baby fishing steps that many of us continue to follow.....you taken the time, effort and withstood the personal sacrifices to share what you love with us.

You've lead by example.

I for one am more than happy to give up a few hours of sleep to aid a companion with something as simple as a few machined boat parts.

You are most welcome.

I'll simply say that Hammer Down is at the top of my short list as well.

If anybody wants to know what it takes to be the guy that gets the first call, just follow Johns lead.
