Welcome to Ifish Fishpharmie. You could be just what we needed - a fishing pharmicist

. Maybe you aren't allowed to give chemical advice, but I would like your opinion about some connected to egg curing if you are able to. I know that FDA food grade sodium sulfite is better than photo supply powdered versions for egg cures (most SS you find in tackle shops is the cheaper photo supply stuff). Same with coming up with FDA grade sodium nitrates at a few willing meat processing plants. What is the differences? And how can the fish tell (there's a tough one for you, or anybody; because we aren't fish). Oh ya, why do fish like WD40? ... Bet you didn't expect some tough Q's right out of the gate, huh? If you don't know, don't go out of your way trying to find out. Just knowing what's best for egg cures is the important thing. - RT
