Thanks to the Dogs
Yesterday, I ordered an ACR Aquafix personal locator beacon after reading all your posts on the technology and what particular piece of equipment made sense for the average boater. All the info provided by you guys was very informative and left no other issues to look at. Thanks for all your efforts in improving safety for all of us. Now, I have two motors; a fixed mount GPS and a handheld unit; a fixed mount radio and a hand held unit; a PLB and an anchor. Hopefully, I can avoid that age old problem: "operator eror". But, even there, the Dogs always come up with good tips if one just reads the posts. Thanks again for all the info you guys have put out.
