Default Boat Gear

Hey boat owners -

I am looking at replacing the old back to back seats in my boat with the pedistal swivel type set up. Any recommendations as to the best place to buy this sort of thing. Also, are there any problems I may encounter with doing this?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

PeterMac, Fishermans at Hayden Medows. Also check West Marine at hayden Medows and Boaters World at Jantzen Beach. I found some things priced beter at the two latter stores compared to fishermans when I was setting up my boat.

Bentleys along Mcloughlin Blvd. in Milwaukie has a wide selection of seating setups either in store or catalog for ordering.

Bentleys has a good selection but they are expensive as hell. I would check West Marine at Hayden Meadows.

you give up comfort, unless you're willing to pay for it. (air ride pedestals help) I know, I purchased seats a few years ago. you get what you pay for, in my case you get what you can afford... I can't wait to get my next boat with "Premium" seats.... don't skimp if you don't have to. Cabela's is a good source - lots of selections and prices. good luck. zipper.

The best place to find and purchase boat seats and mounting hardware is cabelas.
