What did you get done today?
I could not resist the warm sun pulling me outside. I managed to weed and rake up several "needy weedy spots". Boy, it feels good to get out and get the area ready for spring and summer! And it felt warm!!

Wasn't it nice! Hit 64 this afternoon up here east of Sandy.
I went out and picked limbs and sticks that littered the backyard from all the winds storms this winter.

Re: What did you get done today?
I bought my 6 y/o son a Tee-ball bat, a few balls, a glove and a practice tee.
We went out and had some fun.

Re: What did you get done today?
I picked up some blown down branches in my back yard. Also hooked up the hose and sprayed that mole-be-gone stuff, or whatever it’s called (castor oil). The moles are really trashing up my lawn!

Split some of that firewood we cut last November/December. Now I have a salmon steak cooking on the grill!

Re: What did you get done today?
Swapped out all the water supply lines for the toilets to braided Stainless with check valves. Finished the underwraps on a trolling rod all that after playing 8 games of racquetball this morning - winning 7 for 8
Ok so I'm still getting caught up inside

Re: What did you get done today?
Cut up the christmass tree with the chain saw.
Raked leaves (why my oak drees don't drop their dead leaves is beyond me)
Cleaned a poly-propelene roap out of my jet intake!!! (no, it wasn't mine)
Setup microsoft office, email and data migration to new laptop with win Vista.
...laundry, nap, grocery shopping.
I'm bushed. Time to ifish.

I'm glad I'm not the only one with their Christmas tree still laying by the side of the house.

Re: What did you get done today?
Picked up limbs in the yard. Put them in the burn pit with the trimmings from apple tree and burned them. Discovered I had a water leak in the pig pen. Fixed that and then cleaned it. In case you ever wondered pigs are messy!

Thought about picking up limbs in yard, Thought about fixing leak in broken pipe is pasture, thought about fixing flat tire on lawn mower, thought about firing up leaf blower and blowing leaves, thought about a nap and since it was the best idea I had, I acted on the thought and got that one project done. Now it is 3:40 am and I can't sleep because of the darn nap.

Re: What did you get done today?
serviced transmission on work truck, serviced transfercase on work truck, checked differential fluids on work truck, cleaned up all the transmission fluid spilled while removing trans pan (wonder why the manufactures can not build an auto transmission with a pan drain plug and external screw on filter)

Re: What did you get done today?
Too much! Yesterday was supposed to be a "day of rest" - or so I'd designated it after spending the day as a lumberjack on Saturday. Had a few things to clean up around the house, but mostly was just planning on vegging.
Here's how the vegging went - finished taxes, cleared dining table, started on kitchen but then decided to help Andy with garage re-org. Then I realized we hadn't yet done the pruning and it was feeling a lot like spring. pruned shrubs, trees & ferns in back yard, raked, did some weeding, trimmed fern in front, and got most of the debris picked up before it got dark. (in the process discovered that daffodils, daylillies and irises of 2 varieties are already poking their heads up)
Then cleaned the woodstove, did some vacuuming and cooked dinner.
Finally settled down and promptly fell asleep watching a movie.

Matched a Wordpress blog template to a websites design template, including a color scheme which made me want to pluck my eyes from their sockets.
Various "emergency" edits on a house rental site.
Helped someone write a best man speech.
An apt-get or two.

Re: What did you get done today?
Looked at a 26' boat off shore from Kofflers which was in the process of being built. This may become a weekly thing for the next 6 weeks.
