Default Costa Rica?

Am considering a trip to Costa Rica the last week of March.

Deciding between the north end, (Tamarindo) and central (Quepos).

Any input on best fishing that time of year?

Not just sails, also tuna and roosters.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thx

I just got back from a week in Quepos. Fishing was slow compared to their normal year but we still managed, sailfish, dorado, snapper, roosterfish, jack cravalle and some others that we ate without being properly introduced. I am barely back (got in at 8:00 tonight) but I have all the info you could want on Quepos.

They have begun construction of a marina but it will be awhile before it is completed. When that happens I suspect the town will really grow.

Do they have a special goose season down there too in Mar Bruce?? I know your favorite is Mr Pez Gallo, but leave the Sails alone and try for the ones that pull back........you know them red meat things.........
