Default Re: Trolling Motor

I love my MK, quiet, smokeless, starts right up.

I'm not sure what model I have, I'll check and let you know - it would be just about right for a 15' alum. It is just a little wimpy on a 16' wooden antique.

After I wore out my first battery, I bought a BIGGER one - it lasts a lot longer, definitely worth the extra $10. I carry a spare also, just a regular car battery that was donated to me.

I bought my trolling motor at Costco, I think there were only 3 models to choose from, and of course you never know when they might have them. It's worth a try, shop around for sure - Joe's or FMS are probably reasonable.
