A little request
I went in today for another blood draw to see if my PSA is going up again. The last time in it had gone up one tenth of one percent since surgery a year ago. Dr. says if it goes up again he wants to start radiation. I'm not looking forward to that although prognosis is good.
I probably won't sleep real well tonight. Should find out tomorrow.
Thanks in advance for prayers tonight.

Re: A little request
Thanks so much. The results came back with just a tiny rise. I still have to go in and explore options. I'm a bit more encouraged though as the rise is so slight. I'll know more next week.

Re: A little request
Just had one done today myself. (PSA and exam) I'll pray for you. My Dr. treats me for high blood pressure. I told him I never had high blood pressure til I heard him snap that rubber glove on...If it proves necessary for radiation treatment in your case, take comfort in my Father's expereince. He went through it and is disease free now at age 86,with no adverse side effects

Re: A little request
Well the news is, I have to go visit the radiologist. 6 weeks of 5 days a week getting zapped is not my idea of fun. but there is no alternative at this point. Thanks for the replys and thoughts. I just hope it doesn't screw up my Spring Chinook fishing!
I feel very positive about the outcome of this. When I was 20 years old I didn't think I would make it to 50. So here I am at nearly 66 and still enjoying most of the things I did when I was 20. Well some of them anyway!

Re: A little request
Joe, You are in my prayers also. In times like this I remember:
God is in control,
I am a son of God,
everything will be OK.
