www.tribnet.com usually has a fishing report every Wednesday about blackmouth in the sound. Just find it under sports.

Jeffhead is one of the guys to talk to as well.

rcl187, All the reports that I have gotten says there is plenty of blackmouth around. one of the more consistent places seems to be Mid-Channel Bank. I have fished around Seattle since the opener and have put keepers to the boat every trip. Try using Hot Spot flashers and either Coyote spoons(#188), Coho Killers, and Green Spatter back Hoochies. These are the GO TO set ups for me.

Add Grand Slam Bucktails to that list. Got a fish with them ever time out this year.

Fish seem to be deep this year, as in 200 feet down, at least where I am fishing.
