Default Eagle Creek Update - Thanks Jigman and Mark

Eagle Creek Update - Sat. 3/10. Fished with my son for 4 hours. Had not fished for over a month due to low water level. I kept waiting for the rain to come. Finally could not wait any longer.

First fish - chrome 12# hatchery hen on Rainbow Jig and Thrill bobber. FIRST CAST. Thanks Jigman for the product and stlhrd Mark for the great advise. I finally landed my first B&J steelhead.

Second fish - a red side, approx 10# native buck. What a fight. Thought it was a chinook for while. Gave the rod to my son and it was 15 min. before we saw the fish.

It blows my mind that these fish would be in the creek at such a low level. I mean these are August levels. Yet, summer steelhead do it, so why not winters.

Anyhow, it's nice to be putting up a few quarts of eggs - FINALLY.

Tight lines, drifter.

Alright, way to go. I bet your son had a blast fighting the fish. That is great you got to share it with your son.
