Default Cowlitz smelt report.

Went to the Cowlitz in the evening.
Nothing, really to be excited about. Spend about couple of hours, tried 5-7 diffirent spots.
3 - Smelt only in the bucket.. Not kidding. Tide was going out strong. Maybe should try dipping on the incoming.

I will be driving by the Stella (downstream of Longview) area this mornig. I've heard there's been ncreasing numbers of seals and sea lions there. I will report on what I see. Hopefully, a freighter will go by so I can see if anything is getting beached or stirred-up in the prop wash.

In a couple more days there should be some smelt in the Cowlitz. Unless they keep paddling up river! They were in the puget Island area yesturday. So the little buggers are on their way. The school was not to big of one, but atleast it's a start................Bobber Down
