Default Changing out bench seats

The upholstery on my bench seats are starting to come apart at the seams, so it's time for a change. I am considering changing out the bench seats for aluminum storage boxes with single seats. I did a search of this web site and googled a search for aluminum storage boxes with little success. Where would you find the single seat aluminum storage boxes?

You can order just about any size you need from Pro-tech aluminum. Google for them. Spendy but excellent quality

[PPM has them in stock. I had my bench seats swapped when I purchased the boat. So much more comfortable when fishing.

PPM? Are they the North River dealer out of Clackamas. Do you remember the approximate price for the boxes?

Thanks

Boy howdy!! I went to check out boxes at NR and those boxes are expensive. By the time you buy the aluminum box and put a seat on it you are looking at almost $1,000 a pop. I can have a lot of upholstery redone for that price. Uhm!, I wonder whether I'd be happy with carpet covered marine plywood boxes.
