How much to expect to pay for a duck mount?
I was thinking about having a duck mounted and I was wondering how much I can expect to pay? Any suggetions on a good taxidermist around the westside of town ( Forest grove, Hillsboro area).

anywhere from $175-225 i would expect for a single duck

A friend of mine does this in his spare time for a hobby. He charges $160.00 for a sitting duck and around $190.00 for a flying duck.

for a quality mount you can expect to pay at least 200, and more like 250, for a flying mount and maybe just a bit less for a standing mount.

I know a guy who does ducks for $145, sitting or flying. The pics from his website look pretty good. He's about an hour and change away from you though.

250 at artistic. We just dropped a few off. It's worth spending the money so your duck looks natural as possible.

$250 to $275 at Trophy taxidermy. Rick is near the airport. He has done about 10 for me and is working on three as we speak. Also, you will get the bird back in 6 months or so. Some shops are taking over a year.
