Fishing info for the Winchester bay area please?

I will be in the Winchester bay area this summer and would like to do some Chinook salmon fishing in the Ocean. Can anyone tell me the best time to fish the area? Any help would sure be appreciated.

Dick,
We go for a week every year for the 4th of July and do quite well.
I just head over the bar and troll south. We have gotten them from 200-300 ft and also at 85 ft running the surf line. 2 years ago 3 of us put 6 big kings in the box in 2 hrs. We hooked one at 245 ft, then another 10 min later. We waypointed the spot, went back over it again and had a triple ...landed all three.
Most exiting day of salmon fishing I've ever had.
