Well I just got back ,last night what a great trip even though I did not get a Coues Buck ,but I did get one shot at 80 yards and I dropped my bow arm and shot right under this nice forked horned .I did have a good opportunity the day my friend shot his buck ( he had a rifle tag and I did not ) and after he shot his buck the other deer did not even flinch they where kind of bewildered and went to see why he was laying down like he was a slacker so I said to Kevin hey I`am going to go around those Deer and arrow the bigone since you liked the 3X better ( I was his spotter and we had desided on the 3X until I saw this really big forked I told him shoot the forked ,but he did not ) any way I was all the way around the mountain and up a canyon getting close when the 3 dumbest hunters where singing and making a ton of noise ,which in turn busted my Buck ,they obviously did not see any deer cause they where empty handed well they did have a rifle and spotting scopes

( this area is hard to get a rifle tag ) any hoo I had a great time ,and the weather is crazy as usual and I will be going back in 2 weeks when the rut goes full bloom ,BTW I did find a nice shed and I did get to find his
Oh yes when you hunt a Coues you need really good Bino`s and a spotter cause other wise you will never see one ..............................
