Another enormous hogzilla shot
This was shown on CNN's website this morning:

It is a video of the hog and OMG! the thing weighed out at 1,100 lbs!

When I was a younger man, I worked at a slaughter house, and seeing a 1000 lb hog was nothing special. These usually were sows that were too old to be a good breeder any more. I have no idea how old they mighta been.
I imagine they were much better fed than a wild hog, and since they lived in a relatively small pen, they couldn't run off any weight.

That hog was killed just a few miles from my doorstep. My friend went and saw the pig yesterday and he still cant get over the size of it. He took some pics i will see if he will send them to me.

I Would imagine that the meat was pretty rank from a hog that big......
