Little kid teeth grinding

Please tell me they out grow this pretty quickly!! My 2 1/2 year old grinds her teeth all the time, and gives daddy the major heebie-jeebies when she does it. Such a horrible sound. Thankfully these are temporary choppers, but its still gotta have an impact on future teeth, thus driving up orthodontist bills. Who cares about the $$ right now though...just make the noise stop!!!! Worst part is, you get on her about it, and she gives you a blank look....no clue what she's doing wrong.

My daughter dealt with it until her baby teeth started to fall out (naturally)
The pain of a loose tooth got her to stop. She wasnt aware of it either until the loose tooth caused pain when she did it. Stopped the same day.

Man oh man, do I know what your talking about. My 5 year old son does it when he is sleeping and the sound is BAD BAD BAD. We let our kids sleep in our room 1 day a month for fun and I end up sleeping on the couch when he is in our room. IT DRIVES ME CRAZY.The dentist said not to worry that it will stop.I feel for ya man. If you figure out a way to stop it let me know ASAP.

Get them a mouth guard to sleep with or you'll be up to your eyes in Dentist's bills before you know it.

One of mine did it around 2 years old too. it didn't last long at all. Just seemed to be a stage she was going through with her teeth I guess. Luckily it didn't last long.

My oldest boy did it when he was younger.Went on or a coupleyears.So loud when he was sleeping I could hear it way too well downstairs.Tried everything.Even took him to the Dr and dentist.Tried mouth guards.Eventually he just quit.
