Someone was looking for a substitute rod holder for Scotty. I installed these Pursuit rod holders last year. The jury is still out on them but they are definately more heavy duty than the Scottys. I have a friend that works for Seaswirl Boats that has had them installed on his Seaswirl 2301 for two seasons and has had no problems.
They are a little spendy but tis the season.

There is something about putting a Calstar rod and a ? (Avet, Accurate, Progear, Tiburon) reel in a Scotty rod holder.
