Default Muzzleloader Bull (picts)

Well things finally came together today and I was able to get a bull. After not seeing anything for a week after the opener I was able to get a shot at these bulls feeding out of a field towards the timber this morning. There were three bulls of about the same size and I was holding on the lead one until the other stepped in the way so I pulled up on the rear bull at 125 yards and made a good shot then they ran about 50 yards and I hit him twice more where he folded up. Well I have learned alot for this being my first muzzleloader hunt but I had a great time and now I am glad that I held out for a bull. Hes a 5x5 but he broke off one tine off the left side.

Thanks for all the information and answers to the questions I had leading up to this hunt, from the ifish community.

Nice bull, But I'm curious about 2 things. What state did you shoot that bull in and what kind of muzzleloader is that you're holding?

Ok, I see it was shot in Trask unit and that's a Rem 700ML. At first it looked like a bolt action cartridge rifle. So I have another question, the regs say you can't use centerfire primers, does that include 209 shotshell primers?

Congratulations on a fine bull. That was one of the toughest elk hunts we have had. Way to stick with it.
