Default Snowshoeing near Mt. St. Helens

Well I went and bought a pair of snowshoes for something to do to pass the time on the bluebird days during the winter. I had a real good time up by the mountain and thought I'd share a few pictures with you guys, i'm no pro at this photo thing so don't expect High (Duckboy or Sliverpicker) quality...lol...a blacktail doe with the mudflow in the background.

Mini Peaks with Coldwater Lake at the bottom.

And a picture of what I could see of the mountain and South Coldwater Ridge
Sorry the pics are kinda dark but it was cloudy and blowing like crazy.

Those pics are great! I could almost feel the wind.

My wife and I cross-country ski all winter, but this year we've been talking about getting some snowshoes for those places that aren't really good for skiing. It sure beats laying around the house with cabin fever.
