Cool Bulls on Parade

Okay now all of you Rage Against the Machine fans will appreciate this, for everyone else there is a picture .

In your best Zach de la Rocha voice repeat after me

"Rallying round the family, with a pocket full of shells!"
"Come wit it now!
Bulls on parade!
Bulls on parade!
Bulls on parade!"

Went out to the farm Wednesday anticipating the most water we had seen after the water dumping we received the night before. We were not disappointed and had to set up our blind in a different spot than before. Shooting started out slow, but gradually became more active as the NW wind blew the birds off the big river.

We ended up with two nice bulls (one minus the head because my partner got a little over-zealous with the wringing! ). Some smiling mallards, non-smiling mallards, widgeon and GWT. Gotta love those little buggers! Had eight ducks, when a big flock of GWT came into the spread. Five shots later we had 6 pairs of feet kicking in the air and we were done by 830am!!!!

Tried for flying roast beef after that but with no luck . Lots of geese moving but they wanted nothing to do with where we were. The ones that gave us a look-over didn't like something. That is why I need the layout blind!

Have a great new year.

FYI, you could be ticketed for the headless duck.

Yes, technically we could. That is why it was retained just not in the photo.

Hey thats not fair to put Bulls on your title. It confuses us people that are not good shots with a shotgun.

Glad you had a nice day!
