Actually, if all of the folks who read this board join one of the areas fishing clubs, whether it be the steelheaders, Flyfishing, or whatever in your area we could make a big difference in the direction the way our resources are being managed by the states.

By joining we form a political group and can bring pressure through our representatives to change the practices we find offensive (except O's and Hey_Yall).

Spend the $20 or so and get involved.

In fact I think, with the persmission of the
Administrators of this bb we should have a listing of all the clubs, the areas they serve, contact person, meeting date etc, so you can see what is available in your area.

What about it Jen and RT....can we find the space to list them.

Giz...

There was a rumor to that, but I heard he's terrible at public speaking. But, yes I'm going to give it a try next Wed.

It won't be boring Giz if I can think of a way to give Jennie the giggles while she attempts to speak to a hundred fishers.

Gizmo
Excellent idea Giz. Heck I'd pay the $20 just for admission price to hear RT and Jen speak. Honestly that would be great to know what fishing groups are available in your area. Kinda like the all for one one for all thing...alright maybe not.

Just wanted to say A great BIG THANKS to RT and Jennie for being the Speakers at the TV Chapter of NW Steelheaders meeting last night, you were fantastic! It is great to have fisherwomen and men that work so hard for those of us with the fishing disease. RT and Jennie talked about Ifish and then tips on Jig fishing. Jennie even won a door prize, I think RT got skunked! Several other Ifish members were there - Fishbait, BigStew are ones I know for sure.

Thanks Again and You are welcome anytime.
(Finally started raining - yeah!)

What a blast!
And what an impressive show of dedicated fish people! I have to say that I was dreaming, on the way home of what they have going with only 50 members....IMAGINE what we could do! The very thought of it has me ready and rarin to try and do something with our members to help the fish... Come on gang!
I managed to give some good words to silentapproach.com for their jigs, and to Mark Anderson, showing some of both of their jigs. For contact info for both, e mail me.
Let's make a difference..... I think Giz has a great idea! How would I start to compile that list? someone E mail me all the contacts you know, and I'll get thinking too.
Wow! They were so dang organized! Youth fishing, broodstock programs, master angler classes.... on and on.. The notebooks for sign ups just kept coming. I would be so proud to be a member there! You guys are terrific!
Jen
