Default Sportsmens wharehouse Bows??

Hey Guys, My boy has out grown his bow and we went around looking at bows the other day and found this one at Sportsmens called the vital impact. He really liked it. in fact he liked it more than the switchback. Do any of you have this bow? Its made by bow tech. Just looking for opinions ??

I'd go to a pro shop and check with them, but if it feels better it's probably the one for him.

I hope this don't turn into a BowTec vs Mathews thing.

HAHAHHA, Well He had his heart set on a switchback, I have a mathews feathermax, so we went to Broken wallet I mean Broken Arrow and shot the XT and a few higer end bowtechs. left there with a problem of figuring out how to get the money together for the XT then at sportsmens he shot the Vital Impact and fell in love with it. felt better to him than all the others. Id like to know if its a dependable bow. Ie does it have any problems?? Some bows off the shelf have issues. does this one?

I also wonder if this is a spin off of the Dimond line?

They are a good bow at the price you get alot. If you have questions call the Bend SWH and talk with Dave in the archery dept. He is the regional manager for the North West he knows alot. Also wouldn't hurt to check with BT and see what is the diff?

Salem store has 10-15 yds.

gottafish,
Maybe a little far for you, but the Bowtech factory guys are great. They are very helpful and you may be able to call them to ask some questions. If you are seriously looking at the Allegiance, the '06 models are on sale at the factory pro shop.

Good luck.
