Default alsea ?

does the alsea have a spring chinook run ? going to be in yachats this weekend would like to do some fishing any suggestions ? thanks in advance doug

DK, no springers but you might pick up some surf perch if the ocean doesn't blow up. Park at the end of perch drive (in Yachats) and fish off the big rock formations that are right on the beach... Joe

I think there is a remnant run of spring chinook, but the season on them has been closed for several years.

Without any rain your options are limited. The Alsea should have some steelhead in it. Fish low and you may find one or two. The Yacthats has Steelhead, But it needs a good rain to get them to come in.
