Default My Brother's company Christmas Message

Wow! Neat to work for a big company that has this kind of Christmas employee letter sent out! I'm impressed! He's so lucky to work there!

Quote:
Merry Christmas Everyone!
What a wonderful time of year! Life brings so many blessings and challenges. I have often wondered, "why do some face such tragedy and conflict while others seemingly have a life so carefree and unchallenged?" At times I may wonder, "Why me?" or that "Life isn't fair!" At face value, life may seem like a chaotic sequence of circumstance. Life without real purpose except the purpose we decide it to have. Some of us may even let our current societal influences make our choices or letting current scientific theories set our course for self discovery. Life may seem pointless to some and yet to others there seems to be real purpose and direction.
For me, this time of year helps me reflect on something that is very clear; we are not a cosmic accident! We all have a purpose and we all belong to that same purpose. That there is an organized supreme being, (God) who created and loves us. Each of us. That He knows us and each of our circumstances. At times we may wonder why a loving God would let us suffer or why He would let harm come upon his children? The answer is complex and yet simple. Without this earthly experience, we could never really understand, appreciate or truly accept that which He has prepared for us. That regardless of our personal trials or success, what he offers us, is far superior, beyond our wildest imaginations, than anything we have experienced here. Yet His gift came at a price, that could only be offered by one who would suffer all things that every human would ever experience. A gift to mankind, finally cleansing us of all our infirmities, sufferings, pains, anguish, mistakes, frailties and deformities. Even overcoming death itself.
This gift was given unselfishly and willingly out of pure love and hope. Love because he suffered for us even if we don't accept his gift. Hope because it is His desire that all receive his gift. As such, it is during this season, we participate in gift giving to those we love. He set the tone of gift giving. The world has set a different tone. The world seems to be ignoring his example, even with some of us who profess our acceptance of his gift. It is my hope that I can follow his example and in some small action demonstrate my appreciation for his gift, by helping, loving or caring for one or more of his children. That somehow I can emulate him through kindness and sacrifice.
December 25th is in celebration of the Birth of the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ. Take time to contemplate His life and what on earth it has to do with us. I believe it is the central part of our very existence. I don't believe he was a historical figure of admiration, but that he is a living eternal figure, the very reason for our being. He was not an accident nor was he a convenient solution to a mortal problem. His life, as is ours is part of the plan, a wondrous, loving eternal plan. A plan for us to learn how to love as he loves. I hope that I can learn to love and demonstrate that love to my family, friends and associates, this holiday season.
Merry Christmas

You really don't see that much. He must also be a great leader as he shows he will do what is right. I applaud him...
