Medford area fishing

I will be going down to medford this weekend and was wondering if anybody knew any fishing hotspots down there, or people to get ahold of that would know? Salmon, Trout, Steelhead / Fly, Jigs, Corkies, Metal

its a little early for steelhead in that stretch. Down towards Grants Pass would be better for the next couple weeks. If you like flyfishing you could do some c & r trout fishing at the holy water up by lost creek dam. Just head out hiway 62 and follow the signs to Cole Rivers hatchery and the holy water is the stretch just above the hatchery. Lots of nice fish though they get hit hard and can be finicky. good luck.

May check into the Savage Rapids area around Grants Pass. It is pretty early, but you never know. There's a bait/tackle shop on the upper river on hwy 62 called Pat's Flys, or Pat's Handtied Flys. Anyway, it used to be there. They would have probably the best info on the Rogue. Best fishing I know of this time of year in the south Oregon area would be either Klamath Lake or Klamath River below Keno dam. Nightcrawlers, split shot, and 5# plus rainbows.
