Ticket Cost: Adult $20
Kids (age 5-10) $10
Kids 4 and less: free ($.01 via PayPal)

Prices increase Feb 1.

Some of the seminar topics will cover:
- Meet reps from the PFMC,ODFW, local Coast Guard stations, the Governor’s office, and more.
- Fisheries / Conservation Issues such as OPAC / Marine Reserves; Tuna Update/ IATTC; Rockfish, Barotrauma Update by ODFW, OSU; Weak Stock Management / Klamath Salmon.
- Oceanography of the Oregon Coast (how Predominant currents, upwelling work).
- Fishing Techniques (of course!).
- Weather/Safety – Coast Guard towing; EPIRBS & Life Rafts; Marine Weather Forecasting with NOAA rep.
- Oregon SeaGrant – Tsunami preparation & reaction; Seafood Safety.
- Fun / Entertainment – movies, stories, slide shows, raffles.
- Sunday Demos - Flare shoot-off; Cast-net demo; Life Raft in pool, and more.


Admission to Trade Show & Speakers for those not purchasing a meal ticket will be $1.00 at the door.

Omigosh! I just reviewed a list of seminars & events that Mark Mc & his team are organizing and I have to say, this is shaping up to be quite the exciting convention! They're putting on the finishing touches and making final confirmations with presenters so stay tuned!

Well I wasn't supposed to be coming down - State Championships in Doubles Racquetball same weekend, but I'm partnerless so I figured I'd say I'm coming that way the partners will be lining up at the door - kinda suck I was #6 in in the State last year in the A division and can't get a partner

Wrist bands will be distributed at the registration table at the Convention site. Nothing will be mailed out. Above list of those registering is intended to provide confirmation of those who have registered. Hope that helps.

Is it too late to show up to the convention?

I didn't think I was going to be able to make this date, but there is a slim chance that my schedule will allow me and my better half to attend. If we are able to drag the trailer down next week, will we be admitted?

I understand it may be too late to get in on the dinner and such, but wouldn't mind meeting some dogs before the upcoming season.
