Default Bought myself a Christmas present

Last night at work, I was showing a customer some muzzleloaders when I noticed that the T/C Omega was marked down 90 dollars. I've been wanting to buy one for a couple years, and that sealed the deal.
What have you bought yourself over the years? This is the biggest gift I've given myself (for Christmas anyway)

Well, hopefully I will be getting myself a varmint rifle - my first! I think Santa said I wanted one of the new Remington 700 LVSF in .223 so I guess thats what its going to be.

Anybody have any ideas on what scope would be good? Can I use a regular 3x9 maybe or do I need one of them fancy varmint scopes??

I have a Zeiss 6.5-20X50 on my varmint rifle and I really like the added magnification. Depending on what you will be hunting and how much of what type of hunting you will be doing will decide on the appropriate scope. For varmints such as sage rats, rock chucks, and other squirrels I would recommend something with a little more magnification, something like a 4.5-14 or so. If you plan on mainly hunting coyotes a 3-9 scope would suit ya perfectly.

THIS was the biggest "present" like that that I ever got myself.

It's got a humoungous barrel on it and weighs in at 17#

Not much good for anything other than shooting off Sticks.

Several years ago I got myself a Browning Synthetic Stalker in 300WSM and my wife a pair of Diamond studs - got to love the performance awards from work that come with the paycheck before Christmas. This year just paid bills
