Default Low Water Weekend Destination of choice?

Well it seems that we are scheduled for another low-water weekend. If you were fishing winter steelhead with a flyrod where would you go in western Oregon? To bed? The grocery store? Just Kidding!
Anyone with a fishable stream in mind who wants to share it, let me know. Email me directly if you don't want to post. Thanks.

Fish the same rivers that you would normally fish. Im my opinion fish are much easier to catch in low clear water...really. The fish have less water to hide in so they will be sitting in water that has cover to it. That means a lot of the time they will hold in the riffles that lead into a drift. That water could be only two feet deep but if it has a broken surface to it, they will lay there. Next time out...this weekend...try the fast water at the head of the drifts. You just might be surprised.

Hey roblosey, lower alsea would be a good bet. Leave you're fly rod at home, and go conventional , grinder or levelwind ' there's not much room i.e. too much brush. Five river's down , did decent down low last weekend. Pink worm's - little bitty corky's you might try a little shrimp. MIKIE
