Default Capt George Back

Been real busy! Just bought a place in Coffman Cove on Prince of Wales Island in S/E Alaska...Be going up in May to rehab property for B&B and start chasing salmon, halibut, rockfish, crabs, shrimp and crabs (if I'm still fast enough!)

Lots of good fishing was had in baja this past year with broomtail grouper up to 80 lbs..

Now back on Lake Pierce in lake Wales FL.

Sold my home in the FL Keys, changed too, too much. Guiding became insane with every person, it seemed, in the world buying flats skiffs ..Had to sell the Keys house to get some peace and quiet up here on the lake.
It was a real good run while it lasted..

Anyone want any info on these places I live and fish just e me

Tight Lines and good to be back Capt George

sure will, right now just getting ready to drive up to Cape Cod Mass visit my daughter/grandaughter..

I fished there most of my life, commercial surf caster for striped bass..also did some giant bluefin (not from the beach though!)

I was lucky, got back from Nam and went right onto the NYC Fire Dept. Was able to accumulate lots of time......to FISH! 61 yrs young anf I'm still not over it...the hit, the hit, it's all about "the hit"...

Capt George looking forward to some good fishing tales. Did you get to do any fishing in Vietnam? I didn't but know of some that did. I watched some Vietnam fisherman casting a throw net form a small boat. Don't know what he was fishing for but he was catching fish.

there in 66/67 no fishing for me. A buddy was stationed in Camrahn Bay and went out with the locals, caught some kind of mackeral??

I did catch some leeches, didn't even have to cast..Not much water where I was, a lotta rice fields though!

adios
