Default Crabs or Smelt?

So we got up this morning and weighed the crabbing vs. smelt and decided on crabs. Not sure we made the right choice. Crabbing was slow at Garabaldi, got a doz in 2 hours for 9 pots. Nice slow drive back too.....

So how was the smelt?

Smelt was dead. Wonder if sturgeon was any better? Norivdave was putting in as we left, maybe he found the silver little buggers.

Nope, all we found was the bottom of a couple of beer cans.
