Default It doesn\'t get much better than this folks!

Went to my favorite Zipperlip this morning for a day of fishing. Weather was perfect, river was in perfect shape. 10 minutes into the trip I hook into a large fish which after a lengthy battle turns out to be a 16+ pound native buck which I release promptly to do his thing. 30 minutes later hook into another big fish. She fights me hard but I finally land her, a 17+ native hen to go with my buck. After releasing her I go home and spend the afternoon watching fishing shows on the Outdoor channel. I wish every day was like today!

Good job jigman , Nice weather too . Atleast where we fished today. The lower Alsea river, my girlfriend caught a chrome hatchery hen on her first cast of the day, I hooked two fish and lost them both, oh well it was a beautiful day . Hey I got a jig question for you , bought some rainbow jig's the other day , the package said rainbow fly shop aka from KODIAK ALASKA , is this also you're stuff or not . Thank's MIKIE.

Jigman,
I read a post of yours a while back that said Gloomis was building a rod for you guys. Is this going to be a factory rod that they offer, or one that you are going to be building? They have some good float rods, but they just don't seem to have what I am looking for. Could you please give me the specs on what you guys are working on.
Thanks.

To anwser Mikie's Question the ones you bought are not from us, though our jigs have been fished in Alaska they aren't sold up there. Firetiger, the rod will be sold through us, it's 11'4", 6-12 pound line GL3 spinning rod.

Jigman, you won't believe this, but that is just what I am looking for. I wanted a long float rod in GL3. When are you going to start selling it? I will surely order one. Do you guys custom wrap the rods?

Jigman
An 11'4" GL3 rated at 6-12#? That would be one nice float rod. Good going on the fish. Let me guess, you got the big Natives on jigs right?

Firetiger, looking at having the rod ready by late spring to early summer if everything goes well. Having a pro rod builder do them. Mark, got both the fish on a 5/16th oz Prizm jig I've been field testing. Send me an e-mail and I'll give you more info on it, you might be interested in some of the heads. Don't expect to have the jig on the site for about a month until we are done with the field testing, but we are excited about it so far!
