Default D* Nites for Steelhead?

Have any of you ever used D* Nites for steelhead and been successfull?

You see the little #1 50/50's used all the time for coho and umpies, but never see them used for steelhead.

If you have used them with success on steelhead (I don't care about coho 'cuz I know they work), would you mind telling us what size, color D* Nite you used, what river, and how you presented it?

Just really curious. Feel free to email privately if you do not feel like sharing with the group.

Hooked a steelhead on a d* nite once during shad season. It was at Oregon City while we were out in our boat. Chartruse with a silver back. I forget the size but it was pretty small. We were just fishing with jet divers and picking up a lot of shad. Thought we had another one that was just fighting really well. Turned out to be a little summer run. Really surprised. Lost it right after I realized it wasn't another shad. It was probably a fluke but oh well.

They work for silvers. We used them on the Clack worked real well. Stealhead should work great.
