There seems to be some misunderstanding in my posts. There may have been some suggestions that my intentions where to brag or all I do is keep track of numbers.

I have never been a good steelhead fisherman, so after returning in a ten year absence, I am amazed by my own success, and the success of others I see around me.

Too bad some on here are sour grapes and have a poor attitude in general, sorry about your luck.

I am an aspiring fisheries biologist w/ lots of expereince in fisheres, so of course I keep trap of my Catch Per Unit Effort (CPUE)!

Call me carzy, but I thought that this was a fishing board, full of fisherman interested in tech tips, reports, and fishing stories? [img]graemlins/1zhelp.gif[/img]

So, on with todays post;

This little hen absolutly slammed my shrimp under a slidin Thill float.
I broke off the second little buck in my haste while frog pond was waiting to tak my pic.

This little buck had a drift rig in its mouth and became tangled in my drift rig and I snagged it.

I hammered this another hole for 15 minutes w/ thill slider adn shrimp, no luck. Switched to stationary Thill w/ jig no shrimp and landed this fish in ten casts. I didn't want to keep this fish, however it swallowed teh jig and rolled about 20 times in theh line, even knocking off the float. The eggs where loose and meat washed out. :whazzup:

Here is Frogponds dad's limit by 9:30.

Fellow fisherman w/ his limit fish that he caught on drift gear in the same hole I was fishing.

The first fish's mouth has two 6mm custom painted pearl beads w/ size 4 hook and white yarn that was loaded w/ shrimp tail.

This site is here as a place to share your successful and not so successful days as well as learning and enjoying the sport and fun of fishing with others who appreciate how great it can be.

I have been fortunate enough to have my husband introduce fishing to me again. I have had so much enjoyment from our fishing trips I will not let anyone take anything away from this wonderful experience. In other words post away! Thanks for sharing your fun and success with all of us, we congratulate you!

One last thing I know I have not been a part of your discussions in the past however as Bug_Flicker’s wife I have had much knowledge of what is happening on this site for the past two years.

Thanks for putting those up. Those two hens were my dad's first two steelhead in 15 years. It was great to see him that excited. Heck, I didn't catch a fish today and I had a GREAT day.

I will try to pick up the slack tomorrow, with you being absent and all. I know I am gonna have to go back to work one of these days, so I better enjoy it while I can. Oh, yeah...enjoy class. Don't worry, I won't fish the 007 if anyone is around. :grin:
