Default stone Cliff Inn-restaurant review.

I took my wife there tonight to meet up with another couple. Close friends of ours. We arrived at 6:30 and our server was right on time to ask if we'd like
a cocktail or glass of wine. Being the sofisticate that I am, I ordered the chardonnay. We had salads, (which were very generous), some incredible Salmon chowder, and main entrees. I ordered the ribs. When they arrived I was shocked, as the portion was the size of a lazy boy chair! Delicious! My wife had the pork tenderlion
in a mustard demiglaze, quite superb. The waiter was attentive, knowlegable and polite. Overall a very good meal and experience. The interior is also quite impressive. I kept daydreaming during dinner about owning such a hand-hewn log lodge if I ever won the lottery, the place is pretty cool.
Overall, I'd give the meal and evening a 8.5 out of 10.
I know others have had bad experiences, but I'll be back for sure.
I am looking forward to sitting outside on the deck come summer watching the side-drifters go by.
bon appetit!
GBS

GBS

Good to hear you had a good experience there. Unfortunately, I was one of the folks that had a mediocre at best experience. I really want that place to be good because it's convenient and atmosphere is good.

I'm going to try it again and see what happens.

How was the noise?

I love a good restaurant and will happily pay Mortons/Ruth Chris money to have a great experience.

I've held off from this place because I can't stand either slow service or just a loud (chaotic) atmosphere...

Thanks for bringing this up!

tag, it was only about 1/4 full last night and very quite. I think if you go during the week you'd be fine. Seemed like it would not be loud or rowdy,
like you

Its been a mixed bag for me there, one night great. Next time I would of rather had a hotdog from 7-11. Used to have the account there so I have eaten there many times.

I went there for lunch a week ago and thought the place was awesome. The food was great and huge portions, so you know what that means... .

Like GBS, I was daydreaming about owning such a fantastic place as that on some property I own on a river in WA.

Good service and no pressure to hurry along. The place was pretty busy and not very loud. Will definately head back with my wife for dinner.
