Default Springer Question

I put in a lot of hours every year on the Multnomah channel and usually start at daylight and fish for about 6-8 hours each time. My question is does the tide affect fishing in the channel? If so what is prime time?

Thank you in advance.

Oh yea, any fish being caught in the St. Helens area yet or higher?

Watch the tide closely. It will dictate where and how you fish in that area. My prefrence is to the incoming through high slack. My confindence is in herring down that low. I do know that alot of people perfer to anchor and kwikfish though.
