Give me back my GPS!!

My truck got broken into last night and all the dirty thief took was my hand held GPS and the remote to my car stereo. The bad news is I had 3 years worth of hunting locations and worst of all it had all of my estuary sturgeon holes and routes ... I have nothing else to live for...

crap that is odd, for them to just take GPS unit. Nothing else stolen?. only thing I can think of is someone wants to fishor hunt your locations.

That is sad, for theft. Maybe they thought it was a Cell phone?. Meth monkey's?.

Watch your favorite fishing and hunting locations . If you notice someone new , ask to see what kind of a gps they are using ? Just kidding .
I allso lost years of waypoint on a malfunction of my gps . It is the pitts . I now write down the waypoint numbers on a piece of paper for back up .

I too have lots of Waypoints, saved. of good fishing holes, Hunting spots. ******* bar. But I now download GPS after each outing to Maptech. So its saved. Unless computer dies... :-(

bummer about the theft, good friend lost all his gear this last summer left in his rig an a late nite return and gone in the morning. I down load my gps to my computer now and never leave the good stufff in my car anymore. sorry mate. But then again its just stuff, you will fish another day.

Yes, its a Software for Topo maps. covers all of oregon, can down load most Gps units to the software, to display your way points Or Routes/Bread crumb trails of your hunts or river runs.

Its a really good topo program. I use it for hunting, fishing, Hiking, Plus Search & Rescue mission, to create grid searches Etc.

depends on your gps. i think most gps have a computer link program to load and save to.

This won't bring back your GPS but I am a firm Believer in Karma.
Anyone low enough to be a thief is going to have some pay back coming.

That kind of mentality has a date with destiny.

Sorry about your GPS. They aint cheap and it's going to hurt replacing it, not to mention your waypoints.
