Default Oregon Anglers

Does anyone out there know anything about this group. I saw them listed in the Sportsmans show brochure. Do they represent anglers only or are there hidden adgendas under the surface. I would love to see a strong Anglers union, that would exzert pressure on Salam & Olympia to further our intrests.

illbfish,

Did you do a search of the past posts? I beleive I have seen their name on here before. I am not a member nor do I have any personal knowledge of the orginazation. I will keep the rest of my comments to my self since I don't have any first hand knowledge.

Do a search on google.com and you'll see plenty of links to this group. The first link has their policy and member info.

Oregon Anglers is a political action committee with an interest in good hatchery fish policy and a good political climate for anglers and agencies. The executive director is Dennis Richey from West Linn, and he gives occasional programs for the Salem Chapter of Steelheaders. He will be available for discussions at the Sports Show in the booth. Incidentally, Denny fishes a lot with bobber and jigs on both the Sandy and the North Santiam.
