A sad day came and went this fall, and I finally have pulled it together enough that I can talk about it. You see, a close personal friend of mine passed away this year. We did everything together. Shot ducks before class. Shot ducks after class. Skipped class and shot ducks. Bought a car together. Went to the Cabella's Superstore. We got checked every time we went through airport security together. We even went to weddings and church service's together. Yeah, we got a lot of funny looks, but it just felt so right.
Man I miss that camoflage jacket...
After nearly 10 years, I find myself without my camo jacket. I am 6'5" tall. Skinny with long arms. Any suggestions or recommendations for a worthy jacket from the tall folks out there? I recently checked in the Sportsman's Warehouse but nothing felt right. Arms are always too short, and if they fit then the body was big enough for 3 of me....
Man I have the same problem. I'm also interested in the answerr. I have been sent a catalog from Big & Tall that was all camo stuff but not in the last few years...
I feel your loss. A good hunting coat/jacket is hard to come by regardless of your size.
I had a buddy who had a work shirt that he revered in the same manner as your jacket. He was quite dismayed and promptly burned the shirt after seeing a photo of a coworker wearing it as a kilt. Unfortunately he wore it for a time before seeing proof of the blasphemy.
I still don't know if he has found a replacement that he reveres as much as the first.
