Where were they caught at? Portland or St. Helens or Oregon City?

Just saw a 27.75# springer hanging on the scale at Or. City FMS. They have polaroids of 6 spring salmon that were taken in the last few days. A 36# was taken Friday. Today's fish was taken by 'Priddy's Guide Service near the mouth of the Clack.

So...apparently all of the early action is high upriver. I would suggest that everyone focuses their attention on the O.C. area !!!
Nuttin' down low but *********.

I know of one more taken at Sellwood so they aren't all at the falls... count over the falls is still 0.

Just got off the phone with my fishin' buddy
that was fishing with Wayne Priddy today up at OC. He's the one mentioned in the above post about the 27.75# springer. According to my pal it was actually 25.75 and he caught it on a copper wart fishing for steelhead up close to the falls. Nice surprise. Apparently the fish kept growing the longer they looked at it.

Originally they were planning to go fish the coast but Wayne just got his boat out of the shop and wanted to get it out on the water. Gotta like days like that.

I apologize. You are correct. The fish weighed 25.75#. I saw it on the scale. I either made a type-O or a brain-O. I am frequently guilty of both!
