Ice,Ice....not gonna finish that line.

Well from the looks of around tri-cities the ice is setting in pretty tough. i have read some other waterfowl forums with guys doing great on the columbia if you can sift through the fog. From what i hear the ducks are pretty thick in the lower basin, but the geese are not here in as big of numbers.
Anyone have any opinions on what it will take to get the thaw on. I am just wondering if the temp does even get up to around 40, how long will it take to melt the ice from the last week and a half of frigid temps, or are my hopes just set too high. Well thaw or not, i will still be out chasin the green. Good luck in the fields, shoot em dead.

the freeze up makes the hunting better, just hunt open water. if you can not find any, more birds for the rest of us that know where to look.
