To The IFish Floatilla.
We will be supplying Osprey with complimentary jigs for those in the floatilla to try out. Let us know if you have a preference of color, or size.
Can anyone supply us with numbers of those attending? Good luck guys!!

Re: To The IFish Floatilla.
Suh___WEEEET! Thanks y'all. I dunno the unofficial official tally yet, but when O's and I fished together 2 weeks ago, he had some of your jigs and they looked purdeee rad. He plugged your website today and I went and checked it out. Why not some credit card orders because I'm down to my last check. Have to see about that corkibou contraption you made.

Re: To The IFish Floatilla.
muh ha ha ha Walmart got fancy and they print all the info out on the check for you. All you have to do is put your XXX for this thing spelled "signature". I put the XXX on the check just to strike up a conversation because you'd be surprised how many women think that I'm a **** star when they see XXX on the check

Re: To The IFish Floatilla.
Right on Angel!!!!! I have the 2 samples that you sent to me (salmonhead from Bob's board) that I haven't got to try yet. Hope to this Friday with Os. They are pink and white and sure do look pretty, don't see how a steelhead could resist em'!!! Maybe some of the real jig masters (hey Dan S you out there) could pick some other hot colors to try.
Good luck and tighht lines, Jeff

Re: To The IFish Floatilla.
Hey Fuzzybutt and Angel, I just scatted an email y'all's way. O's said it was OK to hook me up with all his secret colors. I swear he said it was cool. Interested also in hearing DanS reply since JeffHead said he's a master.

Re: To The IFish Floatilla.
Hi Lynn.
Please excuse these 2 silly guys. They are actually just a couple little teddy bears in person. And thanks so much for that wonderful jesture of jigs for us to try out for the float. I hope the river/fish conditions do your beautiful jigs justice. ... I need help with this guys. I think there will be at least 10 boatloads of guys, or more? Superfly Joe or Dan can let you know the best jig patterns for the Satsop. Of course the pink and white w/ a little flash, and also the all white with the black head/red eyes are go to patterns almost anywhere. Two patterns that I suggest to have us try are the one called the "Nightmare" (white head, red chenile grub jig body, white marabou tail feathers - not real long) and also try one similar to BeauMac's version with the 2 redish amber beads on the hook shaft just behind a white jighead and moderate length (only about 1 1/4" seems to work well with the beads) of pink and white combo marabou feathers after the beads - it's like a grub jig, only beads instead of chenile body. That is an excellant pattern for both steelies and kings. I think the beads are about 1/8" in diameter and look like egg color. I think they drill the holes out just enough to push the beads over the hook barb to get them on. I think with the rains that the 1/4 oz. size may be best for this Floatilla on the 10th? ... Send them to Os? ... On second thought, maybe you better send them to me . Nah, jk. Thanks - you two are great! - Steve

Re: To The IFish Floatilla.
RT,
Thankyou for your suggestions.. We have done many orders of the "Nightmare" so are well aquainted with it The bead style we are going to try out, so we'll see what happens with those As always, we do what we say.. "Custom Make, to the Customers requirements" and are open to any suggestions for what our customers want, and have created many new styles of jigs for those with unusual tastes and can say with all honesty... that they have all been very satisfied with the final product (so have we!

Re: To The IFish Floatilla.
Hey guys,
I've been called a master before, but I think that was only part of the word they used to describe me!
Three colors that have become staples for me for winter fish are solid cerise, mostly white/cerise, and mostly black/cerise. I'be been using both the Beau-Mac bead-bodied 1/8 oz jigs and some other marabou jigs I bought from a guy in Umatilla. Both brands have worked well, especially over the last couple weeks. The steelhead on the Nooch have suffered significant losses over the past few weeks due to their unwillingness to pass up a properly presented jig.
Can't say that I have all that much experience fishing jigs for the Satsop nates. I've stuck it to a few smaller ones over the last couple years, but I haven't been able to get the big 'uns to take a jig yet.....YET. Sooner or later I'll **** one off enough to grab the ol' jiggie, who knows, maybe the 10th will be THE day. Only the weather can screw us now!!

Re: To The IFish Floatilla.
Hey Fuzzy and Angel I recommend you check out paypal.com for the online visa deal. It is hassle free and very cheap compared to setting up a real visa account. It is all online, so no phone visa stuff . Keep up the good work .. best jigs I've seen. Do you have any large hook sized 1/4 oz heads? 3/0 hook size for some big mouthed natives.

Re: To The IFish Floatilla.
Rainbow Jigs does 1/4 oz heads with 2/0 hooks for guys who fish the blue creek area so they can winch out those fish before they hit the main river. The hooks are heavy wire and will hold any steelhead! contact Rainbow Jigs at rainbowjigs@aol.com or check out the developing website at www.rainbowjigs.com.

Re: To The IFish Floatilla.
Thanks for all your replies to my post.. however, I still haven't worked out who is the one organising the floatilla lol Could whomever it is, please e-mail Silent Approach at silentapproach@usa.com with numbers, colours etc.. so I can get them made and on their way With the weather that has been predicted, you might just have a great days fishing.. but then again, I never listen to what they say, they never seem to get it right Fingers crossed for the 10th!!

Re: To The IFish Floatilla.
well I gues that would be me. the organizer. but go ahead and give them up to Os. he can give them out. I am not much on jig fishing. just something about watching a float on the water that don't intrest me unless I'm crapie fishing. I tos them around some but just can't get into them. I would be very intrested in some of them "Lil Jennie" things. I seen some that Os had the other day and I want some so send some of them up and I'll give them a shot.
thanx fuzzy

Re: To The IFish Floatilla.
No problems Line_Buster,
I will do an assortment of colors, styles and sizes, that are popular with the area you will be fishing, and pass them onto Osprey during the week. If we don't see you all before then, we hope you all have a wonderful time We'll be thinking of you.. Don't forget your cameras!!!
