Re: josh for president
Yes, Brown wins another game in the closing seconds. The man is pure clutch. I wasn't even worried at the end of the game- we take for granted the fact that he is all but automatic in the closing seconds, and from 50 yards and beyond no-less. Still, we can't forget an earlier play, which, in my opinion, was the real play of the game.
Right after Alexander rumbles in for a one yard touchdown, and Brown finishes it off with an extra point to take the lead, he returns to the field to kick off. Broncos return man Brian Clark takes the kick back to about the thirty yardline where he makes a move to get outside around a block but is met and stood up by who? Josh Brown at the 34 yard line, THE 34 YARD LINE! Boy laid a lick. Best hit I saw all night, and it was by the kicker, who had come downfield about 20 yards more than most kickers ever make it and he straight knocked this guy backwards. Oh yeah, and the ball came out (forced fumble was actually credited to Jennings who apparently got his hand on the ball, however I somehow doubt getting rocked by Brown helped Clark hold on at all)
A couple plays later Brown kicked a field goal, the first of three he would hit in the Fourth quarter- the last of which would ultimately win the game, all of which were neccesary for the win. Like old Madden said, this team is now 8-4, without Brown they're feasibly 4-8. Yes, Josh for president.
